Voici deux oeuvres sur toile qui sont toutes récentes et qui tendent à créer des espaces plus abstraits. En même temps ces espaces colorés créent l'impression d'une agitation contextuelle contrastant avec le calme serin des formes qui y flottent.

Here are two recents paintings who proposed more abstract backgrounds. Those seems turbulent spaces on which more peaceful forms floats unaware of the turmoil behind.

L'auteur et poète américain Richard Schiffman m'a contacté en décembre dernier pour me demander si je voulais bien lui permettre d'utiliser une de mes oeuvres pour illustrer la couverture de son nouveau recueil de poésies publié en Irlande chez SalmonPoetry. Comme vous pouvez le constater ici, ma réponse fut positive. Il faut avouer que je trouve le travail graphique particulièrement réussi. Bravo à l'équipe de SalmonPoetry!

Richard Schiffman, american author and poet, had asked me last december if he can use one of my artworks for the cover of his latest poetry book to be published in Ireland by SalmonPoetry. As you can see, my response has been affirmative. The result is quite impressive! Bravo to the graphic design team of SalmonPoetry!

Richard Schiffman is an environmental journalist whose work has appeared in the Washington Post, NPR, the New York Times, Reuters and elsewhere. He is also the author of two biographies and a widely published poet whose poetry portal can be found here
