HUMANITÉ, 2021, oeuvre numérique composite
Pour certains la maison représente les émotions, la famille, la protection, la vie intérieure. Je considère, dans mes représentations picturales, cette icône comme symbole de la culture et des paradigmes qui en sont les fondements.
Toute société réunit ses membres autour d’un récit mythologique fondateur qui affirme certaines valeurs et établit une structure sociale. Tous les membres d’une société donnée sont conditionnés depuis l’enfance à intégrer et accepter ces mythes fondateurs comme des vérités indiscutables. Remettre en causes la véracité du récit culturel revient à devenir un ennemi potentiel de cette société. Il faut non seulement que la réalité remette en cause le paradigme fondateur en témoignant de ses effets pervers et destructeurs, mais il faut aussi qu’une alternative viable à ce récit soit énoncée et affirmée de telle sorte que la conscience sociale puisse migrer vers ce nouveau modèle.
Le nouveau modèle mythologique est en cours de création. Plusieurs penseurs et chercheurs sont à l’élaborer et nous proposent déjà leurs visions. Il faudra simplement que très bientôt quelqu’un se lève et énonce de façon simple et claire ce qu’est que d’être un humain aujourd’hui et vers quoi l’Humanité doit tendre. Nos moyens de diffusions des idées et des concepts sont aujourd’hui si puissants que le message et son porteur, en utilisant intelligemment les véhicules disponibles, devraient agir comme une lame de fond qui renversera les idoles du passé et donnera naissance à une toute nouvelle civilisation.
Il ne s’agit pas d’une révolution guerrière condamnant les édiles du passé, mais d’une prise de conscience générale de l’état des lieux et du projet que celui-ci appelle.
Avec le temps, un nombre de plus en plus important de créateurs proposeront des œuvres élaborant des modèles potentiellement viables qui ensemenceront la psyché humaine par-delà les frontières. Les unes enrichiront les autres. Et un modèle se définira tout doucement dans l’inconscient collectif. Au bout du compte, c’est le conteur avec la vision la plus large et la plus englobante qui deviendra le porteur de ce nouveau paradigme.
C’est de cette migration nécessaire vers un nouveau paradigme dont parlent mes œuvres. Mes créations veulent aussi alimenter l'imaginaire humain en proposant de nouveaux ponts symboliques et une nouvelle arche d'alliance avec le vivant.
THE HOUSE SYMBOL
For some people the house represents emotions, family, protection, inner life. I consider, in my pictorial representations, this icon as a symbol of the culture and of the paradigms that are its foundations.
Every society unites its members around a founding mythological narrative that affirms certain values and establishes a social structure. All members of a given society are conditioned from childhood to integrate and accept these founding myths as indisputable truths. To question the veracity of the cultural narrative is to become a potential enemy of that society.Not only must reality challenge the founding paradigm by testifying to its perverse and destructive effects, but a viable alternative to this narrative must also be enunciated and affirmed so that social consciousness can migrate towards this new model.
The new mythological model is in the process of being created. Several thinkers and researchers are developing it and are already offering us their visions.

Very soon someone will simply have to stand up and state in a simple and clear way what it means to be human today and what Humanity must strive for.Our means of disseminating ideas and concepts are so powerful today that the message and its carrier, by intelligently using the available vehicles, should act as a groundswell that will topple the idols of the past and give birth to a whole new civilization.
This is not a warlike revolution condemning the aldermen of the past, but a general awareness of the state of affairs and the project it calls for.
Over time, an increasing number of creators will propose works elaborating potentially viable models that will seed the human psyche across all borders. One will enrich the other. And a model will slowly define itself in the collective unconscious. In the end, it is the storyteller with the broadest and most encompassing vision who will become the bearer of this new paradigm.
It is this necessary migration towards a new paradigm that my works is about. My art also want to feed the human psyche by proposing new symbolic bridges and a new arch of alliance with the living.
